I don't speak any but there is some English mixed in here at a site with some info on that receiver. It was apparently also sold as a 'G-mouse': And on that site is a link for driver download: If you compare the drivers in that.zip file to what you have maybe you'll find that they are the same ones you have. If they are not same as the ones you have, they may be worth a try. The drivers in that.zip file are for the Prolific PL-2303 serial to USB bridge.
That indicates that your receiver should have a cable with a USB connector on it. The PL-2303 is a small integrated circuit that might be either on the circuit board in the receiver housing or it may be housed in a 'lump' molded into the cable or at the USB connector itself.
That driver file does not have a setup.exe file so it is intended to be used as part of the 'new hardware found Wizard' part of the plug and play processs. You might try unzipping the drivers into a folder. Then unplug the receiver, open the Device Manager, and uninstall any failed or incomplete driver installs.
Those will usually have yellow question marks on them and will be unknown devices. With all those removed, restart the computer. Open the Device Manager again and look at the Ports COM & LPT again and note what COM ports are noted there.
Then, with the Device Manager still open, plug the GPS receiver in. That should bring up a new hardware found dialog and you want to lead that too the folder that you earlier unzipped the drivers to.
The system should find the info it needs in that folder and complete the driver install. At the end of the driver install, the system may or may not suggest a restart. And in the Device Manager you should see a new COM port in the Ports COM & LPT category. That is the virtual COM port created for the PL-2303 in your receiver and that is the COM port the GPS receiver's NMEA data stream should be found on. Most receivers do not put out a NMEA data stream unless they have a fix. If the receiver has an LED on it, that will probably indicate the fix or no-fix status.
If it has a steady LED when first plugged in, that will usually means the receiver status 'no-fix'. When the LED changes to another state (flashing once a second or so typically) that would indicate the receiver has a fix and the NMEA data stream should start being output at that time. The flashing or not flashing for a fix logic may be reversed from one brand to another. Give your receiver a good view out of a window facing the equator and it should get a fix.
It might take some time (30 minutes or more even) because it might not have an almanac in memory. Once it get a fix, it will most likely do warm and hot starts much more quickly. You should be able to see the NMEA data stream in Hyperterm. Tell it to connect using the COM port identified with the PL-2303 and make sure the port settings are 4800 8 N 1. Whilst all the literature provided with the device insists that the USB - Serial bridge is made by Prolific, it actually turns out that the device I'm using actually has a bridge designed by Silicon Laboratories Inc, it being a CP2102 bridge. This is how my PC recognises the device and why the other drivers were not being accepted. I've now downloaded the appropriate drivers, just googled them, and the device seems to be working fine.
